Electric Callboy

For Electric Callboy’s international Tanzneid Arena Tour, ST. ROBO created the full production design, covering stage architecture, lighting design and the visual concept that connects the set from start to finish. The goal was a show format that can tour internationally, scale to different venue sizes, and keep the pacing tight across the whole concert.

The stage was built around a modular podium layout, designed so the full setup could scale with the tour and adapt to larger trim heights when needed. At its core sat a main upstage LED wall, extended by angled side walls that wrapped forwards into the IMAG screens.

Three X-shaped kinetic elements were rigged above the stage as the centrepiece of the show, operating as combined lighting and video fixtures - lighting sources, LED canvases, and SFX partners in one. Collectively, they provided the show’s creative backbone, merging lighting and content into a single platform and defining the tone and rhythm of each chapter.

Our vision was to create a show that feels cohesive and cinematic, where every song has its own distinct visual identity, but the audience can still follow a clear narrative thread from start to finish. Therefore the content was built around a robot character who guided the crowd through six chapters of the set. Each block had its own introduction, which was used to maintain the pace during costume changes. The robot triggered signature sounds that set the mood and hinted at what was coming next - from the main show introduction through to an '80s chapter, a DJ set, a metal segment, an acoustic moment at the front of the house and the encore section.

During rehearsals, the band simultaneously shot the music video for their latest track, incorporating the X-shaped elements. Using a shared visual language, the opening of the show was designed to transition seamlessly from the video aesthetic to the first live chapter.
